Hello Everyone, We Have Great News!
After traveling and performing in different countries, we finally have the chance to sleep in our own beds, hug our loved ones, continue working on our songs, and reflect on our desires and future plans.
The Problem: The Pitfalls of Social Media Algorithms
We want to grow our community, but it's becoming increasingly difficult to reach our followers through social media. It seems these platforms prefer that we "dance" to their rules, regardless of how unique or well-loved our content might be. They want to standardize everyone—and that doesn’t always work for us.
Nowadays, it feels like artists must please the algorithms more than their fans, which, in our opinion, isn’t fun. Often, even if we follow the rules, algorithms don’t show our posts to many followers.
That’s why we’ve decided to launch weekly newsletters. These newsletters will reach everyone who subscribes, ensuring that no one misses out. We’ve experimented with this format before, but now we’ve fully developed the idea and want to offer it to those of you who believe in us and wish to remain part of THE ROOP community.
The Solution: Introducing an Exclusive Newsletter Subscription
Why a Premium paid version? Because we believe in your support and dedication to our musical journey. To be transparent, the income we receive from Spotify and concerts isn’t enough—yet. Your support is crucial for us to release new music and promote it effectively.
By subscribing to the Premium paid newsletter, you’ll receive:
Weekly updates
Personal stories from the band’s life
Exclusive behind-the-scenes content
Community access and interaction with band members
Special discounts and early song previews
Since you’ve already registered for our newsletter, we’re offering you a special discount for Annual plan valid until December 23, 2024.
You can choose to stick with the free version—it won’t have all the features, but you’ll still receive basic updates, and you can always upgrade later if you decide to.
New Album Coming This Spring!
We’re excited to share that we’re working hard on new songs, and our next album will be released this spring! In the next paid newsletter, you’ll get an exclusive sneak peek at some of these tracks and insights into the recording process.
Big Concert in Palanga, Lithuania

Song Pick: "Be Mine" – They Thought We Were Going to Film a Porn Movie
Ten years ago, we released our first single and music video, “Be Mine.” We’ll reveal a story we haven’t shared before.
For the music video, we convinced internationally acclaimed Lithuanian actress Severija Janušauskaitė to star—for free—because we had no budget. The video also featured Viktor Topol, who, despite not being a professional actor, holds champion titles in Bodybuilding Wheelchair Fitness.
One of the scenes takes place at home, where the characters undress in front of each other, making the moment very intimate. We decided to film it in a hotel.
We arrived at the hotel and went to the reception to book a room. The cameraman was standing nearby with his equipment, and the actors were waiting close by. We explained that we needed the room for just a few hours to film one scene. Suddenly, we noticed a strange look from the hotel staff.
“What exactly are you filming?” they asked.
We jokingly replied, “Them”— Vaidotas pointed at the actors.
The receptionist immediately called over a colleague and whispered something to her. Both of them turned to us and asked again, “What exactly are you filming?”
That’s when we realized what they were thinking.
“Oh no, did you think we’re filming a porn movie?” Vaidotas laughed.
The hotel staff smiled nervously but remained suspicious. We had to reassure them once again that it wasn’t a porn film (although there was a bit of eroticism), but simply a scene for a new music video.
In the end, they gave us the room.
Viktor did a fantastic job in the role, although there was definitely some nervousness. He admitted that it’s not every day a stranger undresses and kisses him, and he himself doesn’t typically strip in front of others. It took some time to get comfortable, but everything turned out really well.
Speaking of the song itself, we wanted everything to be top-notch. We brought in a string quartet for live recording and sent the mix to Australia, where A-list sound engineer Leon Zervos (who has worked with U2, Maroon 5, Muse, and Pink) mastered it.
Everything seemed promising… but when we released the song, it barely gained traction. The press release got lost, the video views didn’t exceed 1,000, and radio stations were slow to pick it up.
That was the beginning of THE ROOP. We didn’t give up, though, because we believed that one day, we would be heard.
Looking back, we’re proud that we aimed for professionalism from the start. Even now, a decade later, the song and music video still hold up well.

And finally, here’s a video from “Eurovision On Tour” in Australia. It captures the last song of the concert, with all the artists coming together on stage—a fun clip to brighten your day!
