It’s Never Too Late to Change and Bloom
We want to share our story. For 14 years, we’ve been creating music together. But in the beginning, when we first formed the band, we barely knew who we were or how we wanted to present ourselves. Complexes and self-doubt often held us back. We were dissatisfied with our day jobs and wanted to escape the vicious cycle.
At one point, we were told it was too late. That we were already at the age when people end their music careers, not start them. Looking back, that sounds completely ridiculous, but it wasn’t motivating at the time. Even so, we kept moving forward.
We not only honed our craft but also worked on ourselves. When you start to change on the inside, the outside follows. When you feel better, you radiate that confidence outward.
We’re late bloomers. While others were flourishing, we were still nurturing our buds. Maybe you’re a late bloomer too? If you feel the urge to learn, create, or explore uncharted paths—embrace it and go for it! Please don’t stop or be afraid. It’s never too late to bloom.
Here are photos of us from the past and now. It’s strange even to us—we look and smile because we’ve changed so much. But as we’ve said, it’s not just external. True change comes from within, and when you embrace yourself, it shines outwardly. We know we’ll continue to grow and bloom for a long time. Let others say what they want - we don’t care. Will you join us?
Song Pick: “Dream On” – Shooting a Music Video in 12 Minutes
Let’s rewind to the release of “Dream On.” To this day, it’s a staple at our concerts and a fan favorite. Its simplicity is enchanting, built around just two chords, occasionally supplemented by a third. It’s nostalgic, and the music video reflects that ‘70s and ‘80s vibe, shot with an old 8mm camera.
Adapting to the filming techniques of that era was a thrilling challenge. The visuals combined shots of band members with sunny springtime nature. In the video, we not only interact and dance but also play games of the time—dominoes, a Rubik’s cube, and an electronic egg-catching game.
The 8mm film was a costly medium for us, allowing for just 12 minutes of recording. Every shot was rehearsed meticulously before hitting the record button. There was no room for mistakes. Our positions, the cameraman’s steady hand, and the lighting had to be flawless.
The film was later developed and digitized in Germany. The result? A beautiful video where Vaidotas still has his hair, Mantas sports a massive beard, and Robertas dons a hat. It’s quite the time capsule—judge for yourself!
A Cozy Concert in Palanga
We’re preparing a warm, intimate show featuring both unreleased tracks and fan-favorite hits. Expect an evening filled with music and comfort.
Why Did We Need a Private Plane for the Ed Sheeran Concert?
We promised to share all the details. In late May, we received an email asking if we’d like to be an opening act for Ed Sheeran show in August. Thrilled, we agreed. We learned that Ed’s team had three options, and we were one of them.
We waited anxiously but heard nothing for weeks. Meanwhile, other offers for shows on the same dates kept coming in.
Not wanting to miss opportunities, we booked another concert on the same date. Then, three weeks before the stadium performance, Ed’s team chose us! Elated, we quickly realized we’d need to perform two concerts on the same day in different cities—Kaunas and Nida. Driving was out of the question, so we booked a private plane.
Adding to the chaos, we had another show in Kuldīga, Latvia, the day before.
Robertas Was Responsible for Managing the Logistics.
His head was spinning, but he organized everything perfectly and sent us the following plan:
Friday
A minivan with a driver takes us from Vilnius (Lithuania) to Kuldīga (Latvia).
Soundcheck.
Concert.
Stay overnight at a local hotel.
Saturday
The minivan with the driver takes us to Kaunas (Lithuania) for the Ed Sheeran show.
Soundcheck.
Concert.
Rush to Kaunas airfield, where a plane flies us to Nida.
Organizers pick us up from Nida airfield and drive us to the event venue.
Meanwhile, the minivan driver travels separately from Kaunas to a hotel in Klaipėda to wait for us there.
Short soundcheck.
Concert.
Organizers drive us to Smiltynė.
Cross to Klaipėda by ferry.
Take a taxi to our hotel in Klaipėda for the night.
Sunday
The minivan with the driver takes us back to Kaunas for the Ed Sheeran show.
Short soundcheck.
Concert.
Watch Ed Sheeran’s concert.
The minivan with the driver takes us home to Vilnius.
Amen.
A Personal Meeting with Ed Sheeran: What Is He Like?
After our second performance as the opening act, a member of Ed Sheeran's team approached us and said that Ed would like to meet us. Could we spare an hour? Of course, we could! At the agreed time, someone came to escort us to Ed’s room. The guide knocked on Ed's door, went in first, got permission to let us in, and said, "Come in." That’s when we saw Ed Sheeran, unlacing his concert sneakers, smiling broadly, and reaching out to shake our hands.
In the room, it was just the four of us—Vaidotas, Robertas, Mantas, and Ed. Just four people who love and create music. No titles or pretension.
Ed asked how we were doing and if everything went well during our performance. Then, out of the blue, he said…
